hello all i need some help

i have a S12 RSX running a stock FJ20 with FMIC,walbro,3inch turbo back zorst,ems dual sport
and R34 RB25 neo turbo running 14psi,

now problem is evey since i had the new turbo the car now smokes on idle
after its been idle`n for about 1min, but only does this once the car is up 2 running temp,
and when u get on boost a fair bit it will ony take about 30sec before smoking on idle
but once again only when its at norm running temp.

the turbo was only 58,000kms old and in what seemed to be awesome condition,
the head was re-built and ported and polish`d about 2 years ago, also the smoke problem
started straight after the first run the car had with the new turbo set up

my mech did the turbo conversion, and run all the new oil lines etc...
but when it smokes these is smoke come`n fro the engine bay and the zorst,
the car never had any sign of smoke at anytime before this new turbo went on

if anyone had some idears or help this would be great, as im sending it back to the mech
2morrow and dont wanna get talked into it beening something its not, or it turn`n out to be my fault,

Are you running an oil restrictor in the feed line?

ok was just reading on NS.com and now know about oil restrictors,
does anyone know if a R34 NEO turbo has a built in oil restrictor?
this might be my problem cause the car has no loss of power and runs fine
just blows smoke on idle,

cheers,mike

you'll want to hope that the t3 off an rb25 doesnt already have an oil restrictor in it or it will starve for oil and shizam

thought about that and did some research on SAU and asked a few Qs and the R34 runs it in
the oil feed line to the turbo,
