ha ha good luck doing vavle stem seals in place,we had a mission even with the head pulled down,i still managed to wreck the seals and ended up taking to a head shop, the dude had better teflon vavle seals and charged next to nothing to put them on,oily plugs usually good sign of goosed bottom end,do what we did and run a hotter range plug and watch ya pistons die a horrible death.

only problem is we found on our high k motor the step for the keeper lock on the valve was sharp and not very nice to slide a seal down, when i tried i marked the inside of the seal rendering it useless,i do have pretty munted hands though and someone more careful would probably have better luck.plus we bought the fj20 seal kit and only got 16,no room for error so once i wrecked one we were doomed.

There are plastic caps that will allow you to safely slide a seal over sharp retainer grooves. They look like half of a powdered filled prescription capsule. I bet if you went to the local pharmacist/druggist with a valve they could fix you up with a handful of empties.

Im going to state the obvious here.

The dude in the original post said it only puffs a small amount of blue and runs fine.

Well, why not just leave the frikken thing alone!
