| I am doing an XF throttle body conversion at the moment and just wondering what TPS people are using with this conversion. I have read that the XF TPS not a wise choice because it is either open or shut. I am running autronic on my car. I know I can ring autronic and ask but I thought I would put the feelers out on here first.

Standard FJ tps is open/closed.
Standard XF ford tps is of variable resistance.
This is what i used with my XF throttle body and Haltech E6X...

Also running a stock xf tps with my microtech, I'd just recommend buying a new one.

wats tps mean? im curious about puttin a xf on my motor but i dont no much about mechanics could u give me some advice?

TPS = Throttle position switch/sensor.
XF Fords (1979?) have larger 65mm throttle bodies which are a good upgrade and are readily available in Australia...

o sweet wat size is a standard fj20 throttle body?
and do the xf bolt straight on to the plenum?
