FJ timing chain

hey guys im sure its been asked b4 but just a quick question

are there any guides on how to do it? like step by step? or is it just a case of ripping it apart and smashing the new ones back on? or if anyone has any tips or hints would be awesome. cheers

easiest way i would assume is to pull the engine out of car
as the head and sump and timing case cover have to
be removed

With some patience and a bit of initiative, a new chain can be drawn around connected to the old one.

E is right if you are just replacing the chain
without changing the chain guides.
