Unlucky for, I'm an American, and we probably know less than Brits as we never got an FJ through Nissan.
I'll try though.
I think Kameari is the only place I've ever seen High compression Pistons listed. Also, some have used Mitsubishi V6 pistons. Spool lists piston kits, but most are for turbo motors, but I know a lot of the manufacturers listed on his site will probably make any piston you want, and they may do it cheaper than Kameari. Are you sure you can get away with the stock 89mm bore?
As far as I know, only Ashford makes cams. Other than him, it's finding a used set, which is rare, or regrinds.
I believe the only place currently listing FJ gaskets is SW motor sports. Stewart Wilkens I believe. This doesn't mean they aren't out there, but there not all over the place.
There's a lot of information on this site - search. You'll find that a lot of the sources are old, and not many people post here any more, but there's a lot of technical data hidden away in the forum.
One thing I noticed about the FJ, short of relying heavily on the Austraians, is that there doesn't seem to be a one shop stop that I know of. That doesn't mean that there isn't and I havent found it yet. But over here in the US, you can call a place that does specific motors, and you can get every part you need or want. When it came to my FJ, my Pistons, cams, rods, timing chains, harmonic balancer, bolts, etc - all cam from different sellers. I'm not aware of getting two different parts from the same guy to be honest with you. Sw probably has the most stock replacement parts, and spool probably has the most bottom end parts, and I'm guessing Ashford on the top end stuff - you'd have to investigate further.
