I have noticed many female goalies that don't appear to be able to jump vertically (or else, can't bring that to their skill set) to catch a high ball. Instead, they try to catch the ball, perhaps on their toes, and the ball bends their hands back and goes on into the goal. If they could just jump another 6-12 inches, it would appear that they would be much more effective. Often, they can jump to the side just fine. Are there any techniques for getting them higher in the air!?
