Response to Transition

These are 2 very important elements of Futsal. Learning not to pass and just watch what the new ball carrier can do is very important also. This game will teach players to pass and run to effective space. So very important in outdoor soccer also and why we choose Futsal this winter.

My wife was very skeptical about playing Futsal. After one game she understands the value added through Futsal. She is very soccer intelligent but could not relate what Futsal had to offer until we tried it. I thought it would take 4 or 5 games for her to understand and after 1 game she is telling others what a great teacher of the game Futsal is.

We still want to play indoor soccer 6 v 6 because it is different and we feel more fast paced than Futsal. Does not mean we will give up Futsal. It offers too much that every soccer player needs: multiple touches, running to space, immediate transition, team work, switching positions to be effective, operating under pressure, demanding creativity, etc.
