Juggling impoves your touch. When you see a pro player receive a cross and bring the ball down on his foot and start dribbling at pace so easily, it's because he's so familiar with the ball and has a great touch. Juggling helps this. It is true you will never need to juggle 100 times in a soccer game, but that kind of training does improve you as a player.
Best way to improve is to have a ball in the bed room, everytime you walk by it, flick it up and have a few touches. A ball in the living room is great too if the flolks don't mind... juggle sitting down while your on the phone or fiddel with the ball while you're talking on a cordless.
Get to practice a few minutes early and instead of chatting with the pals, juggle or play a game of a$$.
Try tricks or try flicking the ball up different ways, it can be fun and it will improve you as a player.
If you aren't very good yet, juggle once, let it bounce, then get another touch. then maybe two touches and then a bounce and so on. Or, serve with your hand and hit it back up with your foot and catch it. Do this a few times then try hands-foot-thigh-hands. make different combinations with feet-thighs, chest, and head. the better you get, the more touches you can have before your catches. OR... try going from the foot-thigh-head-head-foot-thigh and make patterns.
