PLEASE READ THE ABOVE POST CAREFULLY!!! it is well written and differs SIGNIFIGANTLY from what the other opinions seem to be.....The reff should only delay the taking of a free kick if he needs to deal with misconduct(ie cautions or send offs) OR if ASKED for the ten yards. If he interferrs more, he is double penalizing the attacking team.
