I played a little of this in the past...The good teams always had players capable of performing interchangable roles. Everyone needs to realize that when a defender goes foward SOMEBODY has to cover him or the other team will have an open field when possesion changes.
On a small venue like five v five one small mistake by the defending team can lead to that small opening that HAS to be taken advantage of. The one/two and give and gos are very effective if you can practice finishing.
Perhaps the most important thing is to have a set of 7 or players who are VERY familiar with each other and confident in each others abilities.
