I was very interested in your discussion about weight training and growth stunt. My child has played keeper for the last three years (she is 14). She developed huge muscles from the anaerobic workout of the keeper position. Then she just stopped growing. Her brother is 6ft 1 inches and she is just 5 ft 1 inches. She still plays keeper but now I am wondering if all that diving repeatedly at keeper camps and keeper practices plus on her own has been detrimental. Any thoughts out there?
