I think to label the lack of response as unfriendly is a bit harsh. Since no one knows where anyone who posts here or even reads the posts is located, have you considered that possibly no one who visits here has any training sessions in New York during that time period? Than there is the fact that New York is a HUGE state so without specifying where in NY you were going to be, it would make it difficult for anyone to know just how realistic it might be to get together.
There have been a few posts recently with people asking for scrimmages or teams to play on etc. It's important to realize that there are visitors to finesoccer.com from all over the world so if people have a question that includes anything related to location, they must be as specific as possible to have any hope of getting a reply
