Here is a link to a recent New York Times article on the USA's most dangerous attacking player, Clint Mathis. The article also does an excellent job describing Clint's soccer upbringing, as well as some of the problems with 'suburban soccer' in the USA. I found the article on the mark, and refreshing as well. Clint refuses to play the typical American game of suggesting that we should all be happy with advancement to the second round of the World Cup. Enjoy.
