I got a CD in a trade of the Hudson Brothers. These guys are good! I remember a Saturday show with them. A slapstick sort of Carol Brunette (remember her?) skit show...that`s sKit, with a "K"!
Anyway I think they performed a song each week along with the comedy sketches. I didn`t remember them being this good, though. Anybody remember them?

Laura - you are right Bill was married to Goldie (she also recorded a album (to say how old, I have it on 8-track!). Bill divorced Goldie married Cindy williams, last i heard 6 months ago, they are seprated. Thursday night on the WB network is the premire of Oliver Hudson's "my guide to becoming a rock star" a very much waited tv show for me, am dying to know if he sounds anything like his uncle Mark. From the tv clips I have seen he looks alot like Bill.

Wasn't it called "The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Comedy Hour"? Whatever! I liked "So You Are A Star" which at #21 in 1974, is their biggest top 40 hit. ..... Puddleboy

Razzle dazzle was the saturday morning tv show, the Hudson Brothers Comedy hour was the late night show, summer replacement (only). Razzle was at one time a 1/2 show, later made into an hour. I do have some clips from the tv show. My fave line was when they refused candy from their young boss. The hudsons did another show called Bonkers in the late 70's as well, did several apperances on Love Boat, as well as the Pat Boone Christmas special. I agree about the song "so you are a star," that is one of my all time faves as well as "Runaway","the truth about us". I have seen them in concert many times, sorry to say I have never met any of them. Does anyone remember their movie 'hysterical'? When Bill sings "Venus"? That was a classic moment.
