Ziglar is a better listen than a read...

Response to $alesDogs...

At least for me he is!

But I am currently re-reading 'Ziglar On Selling' while I am reading '$alesDogs'. Ziglar for whatever reason just seems to fit my mindset. The audio tapes are a must have for anyone who travels alot.

As for '$alesDogs' I am only a quarter of the way through it and will get further tonight yet with it. The descriptions of the different breeds of dogs had me HOWLING!!! Because I know many of them personally!

Then as I read I found Blair Singer describing me almost to a Tee. As for someone like yourself who may be further down the road than others when it comes to selling, it might be a bit basic throughout. I haven't finished it yet.

But with all of the questions surrounding selling we see on the forums daily... Many would benefit from this book, I believe.

Right now, it's a humorous read for me since I can relate to virtually every example he cites. Down to the "Pissing in every corner of a new account" to mark your territory! LOL

Plus I have had my share of dogfights with new guys coming on the scene as well. It's definitely a different approach to summarizing a salesperson!

Thanks for your comments Dan. I can see how some would have those feelings.

How's everything else going for you lately?

Success and Regards... Mike
