Mike,
I am totally baffled by your response.
I don't see how offering a higher level of service than ClickBank will support is either unethical or a violation of their terms of service. In effect one is saying, I will give you a refund indefinitely, whether or not it can be processed by ClickBank. How could ClickBank or anyone else possibly be against this?
I'm sorry, I just don't understand how an unlimited guarantee would be cheating anyone at all, nor how it could be perceived as attempting to undermine ClickBank.
If you took me to be saying that someone could offer a shorter guarantee than ClickBank, then I agree with you, that would be a violation of their terms of service. But that is not what I was saying. ClickBank doesn't support the sales of seminars, so whatever I said about seminar refunds did not apply to my comments on ClickBank. Perhaps you misunderstood me, Mike?
I don't want to get into a further argument on this point, so if you want to ban me from your board for something that I see as not only ethical but also honorable, that's OK. I regard this as an honest difference of opinion, and I guess I will continue to be baffled.
Sincerely,
Marcia Yudkin | |
