Many, many years ago I was recruited to be a AMWAY distributor. The person who recruited me used to be a civil engineer and his wife used to be a certified account. When I met them, they hadn't had a job for a couple of years. Both of them were globe trotting. They had business all over North American and were moving into South America. They were always on a plane headed somewhere.
I remember asking them about the rings they had on their hands. I don't remember all the specifics about the different rings now, but at the time I was able to look up the level of achievement in $$$ of what it took to get their rings and I think his put him in around $400,000 and hers put her in around $200,000. The fact they had the rings proved that they were at a certain $$$ position in Amway.
So I had proof of what they made, and they gave me the exact same tools and materials they used to generate these six figure incomes -- and they even held my hand. Still, I failed.
