I was going to sign up for our dedicated on the day I wrote that message at Lesley's, then stuff came up and I have haven't signed up for it yet. I haven't sold my wife on it yet, and that makes me nervous, she may read this message at any time. The specs on it will be $99 a month, $250 setup, no server fee, 50 GBs bandwidth with hardware = c1000, 128 MB, 10 GB HD, SSH plus the stuff you'd expect.
I will be needing to run multiple domains to try to get good SE traffic, and they'll have to be linked together correctly. I would love to be able to ask you questions when I run into a snag.
Let me help you, please, on the DNS thing. Does your email still work at which you received your last email from me? Don't reveal it, I've got it in my saved email. I would be honored to mail you, free of charge or obligation the book "DNS and BIND" by Albitz and Liu and published by O'Reilly. I bought it thinking I might need it for the dedicated we used with Trick Report. I never even cracked it...
On the cover it says 'Covers BIND 8.'
I wonder if what you've learned could be profitably passed on to others in a seminar or workshop setting?
