Hi Linda!
I had an intitial thought when you said,
"And... why is it so hard to be objective about my own site? I have no trouble with anyone ELSE's site. (laughing).
It has to do with gaming, or gambling, whichever term you prefer. Lately I've begun to switch from Blackjack to Poker in the casino. So to learn the basic stratgies of Texas Hold'em Poker I purchased a software program. (I used to play a ton of poker in college, but only 5 Card Draw and 7 Card Stud or Hi-Lo games.)
Using play chips or software programs it was easy to make decisions and/or become very aggressive. (Someone elses site.)
But when I decided to take $500.00 and buy-in to my first game... Jeez Linda! It was DO OR DIE! (Your OWN site!)
When someone has little to nothing at risk it is easy to make decisions. But have quite a bit riding on the decision's outcome and you are more apt to think things through!
One other thought I have is if you are going to use the pages on the left hand column as testimonials, I would link them. Use a new page, or Java Script to pop them open in a small box on your site.
I know in the past I have surfed to a number of the sites, you have worked with, through your site. Nice stuff.
Enjoy the Summer Linda!
Success and Regards... Mike
