For years I've read and heard all of the success gurus say that people should do something they're passionate" about and the money will follow. The problem for me was that my passion IS money. I love talking about money, the smell of money, the feel of money in my hands, the sound of money coming out of the ATM machine etc.
Yes, I'm not well in the head, but it's the truth. For years, I couldn't find a good business to get into because of this dilemma, so I had determined that the success gurus has it all wrong.
Well, it turned out that they were actually right on the mark. A few months back I obtained the licenses I needed and went to work as a Financial Advisor for a major firm in my area. FINALLY, I found a job that does nothing but deal with and talk about money all day long. I'm happy to report that I'm doing quite well and that I'm the first one their each day and the last one to leave each night, simply because I like being there.
So, I suppose the purpose of this post is simply to say that you should try to find your passion if you can. I always thought it was a bunch of BS until I matched my main interest with the right career.
By the way, if some of you are ready to respond to this to tell me that there's something wrong with me for being in love with money so much, you can save your typing skills, because I'm already well aware of my "problem"
