Page views!!!
Someone has let the cat out of the bag, so to speak!
When the Marketing Forum was originally created, Network 54 was chosen for it's simplicity of operation, ease of use, the ability to ban IP addresses and not having to constantly be playing with scripts. As an added plus, it's not on my server and the headaches are someone else's!
But every silver lining has it cloud! The forum has steadily increased in page views. A page view is considered to be one page loading into your browser. This month we have blown over the limit I pay for! HOO-RAY!!!!! (???)
So I have contacted NW54 to upgrade the account and the ads should disappear at the end of the month, and hopefully not return unless we hit the stratosphere with visitors here.
Hey, I don't mind footing the bill to run the place! Lurkers are very welcome too. Many successful web sites and businesses have been launched by the very same lurkers who get a PhD in marketing online, by visiting many of the quality forums which are around.
But drop us a note!
