You must have some very nice apartment complexes in your area!

The apartment owners here for the most part are out-of-state owners and the ones who do reside here, are not too concerned with sending "gifts" to their tenants!

Another target market for you to consider would be the realtors in your area. By all means regardless of who you're targeting - Join your local CHAMBER OF COMMERCE!!!!

Make Contacts and network with others!

Contacts and networking are a key ingredient to your success. Anybody's success!

Introduce yourself to the owner - Broker - of a major realty office in your locale. Instead of contacting individual realtors, use the 'Center-of-Influence' strategy by making a presentation to the Owner/Broker. Offer a trial period of say three to six months and YOU send the basket on behalf of the producing realtor and the brokerage house!

If you want to take it a step further... Contact a number of other business in your area a new home purchaser may want to know. Plumber, painter, cellular phone rep., florist, children's daycare, dentist, physician, hairdresser, insurance, etc. to name a few.

Charge them something nominal - not enough to scare them off - but enough to make them feel dumb if they don't! Base it off the price of your baskets. A small $20.00 basket and you may want to charge 12 businesses $7.50 or $9.50 each to have their business card included in your basket being delivered to the new home buyer. They'll need to know who and where to go for the basic services everyone needs! Right?

You can easily find who has made a new purchase at your county courthouse, or let's get back to the deal we made with the Realtor. They'll provide you with the list! BAM! Sale #1!

Ands nothing is keeping you from sending 'one basket' from the realtor - then following up a few weeks later with a basket from the local business people. Bam!Sale #2! And highly profitable too!

Advertising is a big, huge business and businesses are constantly looking for ways to reach and contact new consumers. Especially if they are not listed right next to a competitors name.

Don't think of just selling ONE basket, or repeat sales of ONE basket. Think of how you can use the basket as a tool to leverage the work involved.

Send one basket for $20.00 to $40.00 each. Or send one basket and earn $7.50 (or higher!) X number of businesses = Gross Sale.

Make your business work harder than you do.

Success and Regards... Mike
