...and still have the same needs, wants, desires and dreams, for themselves and for their families and children.

Uncovering needs is a huge part of selling life insurance. Any type of insurance for that matter.

Using a "Live; Die: or Quit" presentation was very successful for me in my early years. It's a simple presentation which reviews the three things which will happen to anyone and how a whole life policy can assist.

The money is there in the event you Live to retirement.

Money is created in the event they were to Die.

If they Quit for some reason along the way, they can receive the monies built up inside the policy.

The presentation I used was simple and followed a proven sales track. It was entitled "You'll Earn A Fortune" and was provided by what little company training I had!

Another tremendous book is one written by the Kinder Brothers called Secret of Successful Insurance Sales". (Written with W. Clement Stone. another GREAT ONE!) I received my copy from Gary Kinder himself, signed for me when I spoke at a Career Advancement Seminar in 1991. Kinder was the keynote Speaker and was outstanding!

It is currently out of print but is available in limited quantities at Amazon.com for as low as $14.50. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/offering/list/-/0396093299/all/ref=dp_pb_a/002-5983936-8128850 This one is a must have in your Sales and Marketing library Joseph!

I couldn't find a copy at eBay listed.

Do you have a local Life Underwriters group you could join? This is another tremendous group to be a part of.

By all means possible Joseph, start educating yourself in Life Sales Marketing - by starting your studies for a LUTCF designation. I used to moderate these classes for other insurance professionals. The 'homework assignments' alone will earn you ten grand if you follow along with them!

even after I received my LUTCF designation, I would hit a sales slump and out would pop my old textbooks! Thumbing through them I would REDO my homework assignements and sales would flourish once more!

Not enough can be said for LUTCF classes when first starting out. It would be mandatory if I was your manager.

Our local Life Underwriters group used to sponsor the classes locally. You can read more about it at: http://www.amercoll.edu/mainlutc/

I have one more exam to take then I will also have a CIC designation - Certified Insurance Counselor. Then I will begin studies for an ARM - Associates in Risk Management. Currently I have my LUTCF and belive me Joseph, it will FORCE YOU to make money selling life insurance!

There are others who sell insurance and financial products who frequent here as well. It would be great for them to chime in.

Thanks for your email Joseph. Hopefully you'll learn a few different techniques to get you going again!

Success and Regards... Mike
