Selling Life Insurance is much more difficult than selling digital products. More complicated and detailed. The primary difference is people DO NOT want to buy Life Insurance as a rule. Unless a tax attorney has recommended it for tax purposes or the courts have mandated the purchase through a divorce agreement.
I seriously doubt anyone is willing to step to the plate and offer you a direct mail piece. It won't work. Direct mail will work if you have a very, very,
(did you hear 'very') tightly focused market. Which you might not yet have. You are still searching.
I went to your company's site. They offer a 'Fast-Track' training program. Take advantage of it and go through the steps. Don't jump any of them. Life insurance is a confidence game and you are not confident. How can I tell? You cannot locate the market you are wanting to sell to. And you do not know how to reach them.
Never have I come across someone who entered into the Life Industry and 'Specialized' in a market, such as advanced financial planning using life insurance. Not without extensive financial background experience somewhere else. A new guy entering the Life Industry simply does not have the mental tools or capacity to do so. You need to start at the basics. Build a foundation of knowledge. Without a doubt your target market has been hit hard already. They all have. Life insurance guys are relentless! And you're not the first one there.
An architect doesn't start out designing skyscrapers. They build up to them by starting with smaller projects. Do your due diligence Joseph. Start with the basics. Learn the tools. Network like I have previously described to you in an earlier post. That is the way to succeed quicker. Build a network of trusted individuals. It is an extremely tough and competitive marketplace. If selling Life products were easy, everybody would be mailing out a direct mail piece. But it isn't and they don't.
Paying dues is part of the Life biz. How long have you been actively and successfully selling Life Products? I sold family insurance for many years before crossing into higher financial aspects of the business.
Good luck to you!
Success and Regards... Mike
