Response to AN IDEA GIVING AWAY THINGS FOR $$$$$$$$

Back in '96 I experimented with Shipping and Handling charges on eBay. Selling Beanie Baby software on 3.5" disks between $5 and $12 while ranging the S/H from actual expenses up to $5.95 & $6.95.

I did receive some nasty emails from the expected crew who always seem to want everything for nothing! Imagine that? Wanting to have a ton of Beanie Baby info. Not wanting to pay S/H. And thinking a couple of bucks was more than enough!

Then of course there were the folks who would take the time to email with questions. Wanting to protect their $5.00 investment. How many times can one respond to the same person who must have thought they were an 'Investigative Reporter'?

Never forget the ones who email you and tell you if you send them the material - FREE - They would pay me twice as much or more once they began to make money. Yeah right. Not happening.

http://www.bnfusa.com is a great place to purchase from for eBay products. And I have seen the 'As Seen On TV" stuff sell for MORE at eBay than what the product ORIGINALLY sold for on TV!

Then again, I have seen some stuff get so competitive with undercutting prices between Sellers, it was ridiculous. But when they cut and slash prices, S/H seem to rise!

Some people, in fact many people, will pay MORE in S/H, if they FEEL they are getting a DEAL on the product itself. There are friends of mine who will drive twenty miles to buy gas at a dime cheaper than in town here. Go figure huh?

If you want to experiment with the eBay thing, I cannot recommend the eBay Guide enough. Couple it with http://www.bnfusa.com and you have a WINNER!

Success and Regards... Mike
