Perceived Value And Guarantees

Hello: There has been some discussion here, (and on various other forums), about "perceived value"...It is generally accepted that if you ask a higher price for your product it is "perceived" as having more value...I had a recent experience that seems to prove this...I sell special reports that were written from my personal experience related to the automotive and customer service fields...After having problems with 2 different online sytems that accept credit cards, I cancelled my payment system and ask that customers send payment to my home address...My guarantee now states that I will send my customers the PDF free of charge and let THEM decide if it is useful and informative and if they don't find it so, they owe me nothing!...I suggest a $10 price for my reports...In the past week I have had 2 persons pay me 2 1/2 times the price I was asking!...What do you all think?....Rooster
