Response to Mike, Vondre and others.. Fear: How Did You.........

I imagine I am in the same boat. I graduated from college with a B.S and have worked for the govt for nearly 4 years and spent time serving in the U.S. Army Reserves for nearly 7 years. Unfortunately, many of us (myself included) get caught up in the "comfort zone" where people become complacent with their lives. THey have families and become accustomed to a daily routine.
You kind of learn to accept the hand that fate deals you. Some continue to accept it until they die and others probably like MIke, Vondre, movie stars, Bill Gates and others decide that they won't accept what fate deals them. So they go out and change their fate.
Many are so complacent and spend many years listening to pessimism from family, friends, bosses and co-workers that spend all of there waking moments bitching about life and telling you that you can't do anything to improve yourself. This pessimism leads to acceptance.
I have always been leary of doing something on my own because I don't want to be rejected or have to hear "I told you so." Most of the time if you mention starting a biz, people think your crazy and tell you it won't work before even listening to your idea.
I have decided that I really want to put an idea together for 2003 and not tell anyone. I will just go out and do it and not even worry about the naysayers. I think that the motivation has to just come from within. Just my thoughts but maybe it will help.

Thanks, the big dog!
