Everyone I have read about or talked to (who has accomplished anything in life), says the same thing. Make goals. Write them down, hang them up and check them off.
This might sound dumb, but if you want any kind of inspiration (besides posts by Vondre and Mike), watch Biography on your cable TV. I don't care who they have on any given night (entertainers/business folks/athletes), it has one theme in common: All started somewhere, had ups and downs, but persevered.
I'm making it sound easy. It sure as hell isn't. If it wasn't so hard, it wouldn't be worth it. Looking back and realizing where you came from and what you did is part of the fun.
I'm working on my goals for 2003. I'll let you know how it goes. I'll tell you one thing: Reading posts like Vondre's above sure as hell helps out. Forums such as this are a godsend. Listening to the naysayers and complainers are a part of everyday life. You need inspiration, especially in the darkest moments.
