Response to Marketing Help And Ideas Needed For My Business Please

Every REAL ESTATE AGENT gives their home buyer a GIFT!

This is usually a $50 item (in my area) It's either an expensive bottle of wine or champagne or a house plant.

So...look in your local paper and look for the full page ad showing all the agents in the "Million Dollar Club". These are agents who sell 1 million or more a year in property. These are people who can AFFORD to buy a Gift Basket.

And...if you want to spend the time and add some extra pizzaz that will really grab the agents...offer to FRAME a photo of the House and include it in the basket. (Every agent has photos of the homes they list.

You could also offer an "extension" of this by offering to provide some "change of address" forms and some "We're Moving Into A New Home" postcards with the photo of the house on the cards.

Homeowners will LOVE YOU for this because it makes their move EASIER...plus, everyone likes to "strut their feathers" by showing a photo of their new purchase (it's an EGO thing)

ALSO....NEW CAR DEALERS. Include an "Accident Guide" that's been discussed here....or, a booklet on "Keeping Your Car Maintained and in Top Shape". This could include a place to write-in Dates of Oil Changes and other service stuff. Also add some Polish, Application Rag, Chamois, Rubber Gloves, new car scent, window cleaner, garbage bags a "Visor Holder" (a thingee that attaches to the Visor and holds car papers)....even a License Plate with the Dealer's name on it.)

PLUS...have someone at the Dealership TAKE A PHOTO of every new car buyer. Offer to place those photos in a Frame with the name of the Car Dealer on the edge (so he gets some publicity)

AND...offer to send the new car buyers a "Thank You" postcard....a "How's It Going" or "Thinking of You" card about 6 mos after the purchase....a "Thanksgiving Day" card (noone thinks about sending ThanksGiving Day cards and the card will not be competing with hundreds of others, like at ChristmasTime)

Also include a "VIP" card (2" by 31/2") which entitles the car buyer to 10 or 15% off Parts or Service for the first year. Maybe a "FREE OIL CHANGE" card (Gets them in the habit of going to the dealership for service)

The average car dealer sells 80 vehicles a month.

A package like I just described can easily bring $50 and more. Car dealers can "hide" this cost in the "prep" fees.
