Half the advertisers choose to pay Monthly (because I give them that option)...which means...for an effort I performed last Sept...I am receiving money EVERY MONTH on the 12th and 13th of the month ($100 to $160 per client) (I bill them on the 1st and they take till the LAST day, the 10th, to send in their payments)
Now...if I had 100 accounts sending in $160 a month, that's be NICE.
I DO know 2 guys (1 in Wisconsin and the other in Miami) who have over 100 accounts sending them payments of an average of $150 a month for ads on gas pumps. (There's probably many more in Calif)
So...go check out your local gas stations...see if there are any Ads for LOCAL businesses on the pumps.
There's also a guy selling ads on....of all places... the gas pump handle. He can't operate in Oregon because Oregon does not have "self-pump". We keep people employed pumping our gas for us.
The next time you get gas, take a look around, pretend that you are "Joe-Average Consumer". Where do your eyes go? What do you see?....that could possibly be space with an ad for a local Car Repair place...or Car Dealer...or Chiropractor...or ANY biz?
Then...think of ways that YOU...in all your flaming creativity...could place an ad there...and the advertiser would pay YOU for getting his ad there...being seen by ALL THOSE CONSUMER EYES!

Think in terms of this;
HOW MANY businesses would YOU like to have paying YOU $100 or more....each and every month...because YOU are providing them with a SERVICE!
The "Service" being "advertising"....or, EXPOSURE!... constant repeat exposure...of THEIR business being seen by HUNDREDS...even THOUSANDS of eyeballs every month!
Start small and build it up. Doesn't take "super-salesmanship"...just a little "work".
Actually...many yars ago...when I was looking out the window of my office at my first "job" after college... I was, even then, pondering the fact that IF...(that's a BIG "IF")...IF...I was in my own business, spending 8 hrs a day...I could probably earn TEN TIMES as much as I was working for someone else.
And...so...along the yars...I've proven over and over again...if I put in an "honest" 8 hrs in one of my businesses I would earn TEN or more times what I could possibly earn having someone else write MY paycheck!
Thus...do some checking! Find something you "sort of like"...something you really don't "dislike"...as long as the TRADE-OUT FOR YOUR TIME is good.
Your own advertising biz may NOT be something you "love" to do BUT...the money is THERE and...as long as you don't dislike it...you will do fine.
