I imagine that you would have to provide them with a commission. Probably about 20-25%. That's still not a bad deal. You shouldn't have much of an overhead other than production costs which would be passed on to the advertiser so that's a good deal. I can imagine that you can only sell this to independents because i was getting gas yesterday at SUperAmerica, a big chain in Ohio and they all had there own ads on top of the pumps. Just for your info, they had them in a plastic frame and they were taped to the top of the pump.
They used some type of thick black tape, I thought of your post so I looked for you. Superamerica markets their own products, coffee, cigarettes,etc,etc. on type of the pumps. Here is an idea for you. Vondre had posted something about marketing on Pharmacy bags. You could sell the ads and have them put on your pharmacy bags and give them away free to the pharmacy. Just charge the advertisers enough to cover your costs.
