Response to The key to big money: It's gotta be yours

 

I own my own business, including my customer accounts.

I work as an independent agent/dealer for Kaeser and Blair, a national leader in the promotional advertising field.

I work on straight commissions, earning 65% of the profit on every order I sell.

I have created my own sales organization of associates who also work as independent agent/dealers for K & B. I earn over-ride commissions on their sales.

K & B handles all the credit, billing, sales taxes and tax reporting. K & B takes the risk (exposure) for bad debts.

I can stay focused on marketing my products and servicing my clients.

It works for me.

Many of the people who were doing on their own are have also switched as they found being a dealer was better for them as well. Some who haven't switched are hurting now.

Just my opinion.
