to be "cautious" amd make sure your "I's" are dotted and your "T's" are crossed when getting into Real Estate stuff.
I'm referring to the many people who buy my "advertising type" business programs each year and and are "concerned" or "worried about" starting a simple "advertising sales" business from their home.
Some of these folks have trouble going down to City Hall and getting a "Business License". Just takes the gumption to "Go".
"Fear" is a great DE-Motivator. The reason I think people are "fearful" of starting their own home-based biz is...."CHANGE".
Any major "change" we make in our lives... "Moving", "Divorce", "Changing jobs"...is "fearful" for many people.
With the many businesses I've started I basically do the research...check it out as much as I can then...DO IT! I then "let the chips fall where they may".
When I started my first biz from an apartment I didn't get a Biz License or register with the "Tax" people. They found me a few months later and they told me what I must do to comply with the laws. I thanked them and followed their directions.
Had I waited till I had enough money to pay an attny and an accountant to "cover me"....or get the necessary "Liability" insurance...I probably would NOT have started.
Sure...I was takinga gamble of being sued by someone but...I figured, "Hey! Life's a gamble!...LET'S ROLL!"
I feel you can go "so far" as far as being "cautious" then at some point you must say..."LET'S ROLL!"...otherwise you'll be stuck sitting there "wondering" whether you've covered ALL your bases.
