This was a row of 7 plastic "boxes", each about 4" wide by 2" high by 2" deep with a Lid on top that lifts up to refill the boxes.
There's a slot in the bottom front which allows one card at a time to be withdrawn.
There's a lock at one end to hold the cover down.
There's 6 rows of these boxes on a board...for 42 different card customers.
One card in each box is placed flush with the back of the front piece of plastic so people can see what cards are in each box.
The guy who designed this was very innovative but, I'm not sure if he's still around in Spokane.
