Contact Mgmt Software

Hello all.

I have been doing some reading as of late, preparing myself to market Vondre's PC resell business in my local community. I haven't ordered it yet - but I want a head start on some basic marketing strategies.

One thing that is mentioned as being a key asset is having good contact software. GoldMine and Act! are mentioned often.

I was wonderin' (hear a Texas drawl when you say "wondering" with no G)

1) what software you prefer of the above two

OR

2) if you utilize very low cost or - YUP! (Texas thing again) you guessed it - free software alternatives that are just as good or maybe even better than the afore mentioned software packages that cost - GULP! - money.
