First of all, I am a TRUE off-line entrepreneur and feel this type of seminar would do better off-line. I think people are too hung up on the internet as a means to make big $$$$$. It can be done as a tele-siminar but I would take it off-line to a hotel meeting facility.
I would allow women to attend the seminar for FREE. If you offer the seminar for free, you'll likely get more people to show up which will mean more profits in the end.
I would get local mechanics to sponsor the seminar. The sponosrship fees will cover the cost of the room and put a little change in my pocket. I would include an ad on the seminar tips guide for each sponsor. The tips guide would be the outline of the course and everyone would get a copy.
Then at the end of the seminar, I would sell my book on the topic to the seminar attendies.
I would also get everyone's name, address, and e-mail address for follow up and additional sales. That's wher the internet would come in. I would be selling to people who have met me face to face, which means stronger prospects.
That's how I would do it.
You can also use this same technique with a tele-seminar.
Here's a little secret.......I was blessed to lose over 100 pounds and put togeter several weight loss seminars using this same technique. I got health food stores to sponsor the seminars and made over $1,000 at each event.
