How's your Summer going!? When things are going well Life is Good!
As much as I love to sell online through eBay, affiliate programs and some of my own stuff. A brick and mortar business can be explosive as well. Over the past number of months I have implemented many of the techiques I've written about, you can download your own copy by heading to
http://www.CrashCourseMarketing.com, into a new insurance venture. Things are going very well. So much so in fact I really haven't had the opportunity to do much else.
Unless you call travel, hiking in the mountains, fly-fishing, and investing in other peoples businesses. Doing what you love is what will drive you, and selling drives me.
If you want to have fun, go sell at a vendors marketplace. Hey it's not glamorous by any means but you can certainly earn a nice income whenever you want to. Sunglasses are a hot item!
My girlfriend and I are currently looking into investing into a Funnelcake business to be opened next Spring. Will we work it? Maybe for awhile, but then we'll either lease it or sell it outright.
Dave Vallieres has written about creating businesses online and then selling them to others. This is great but as we all know online businesses can be a skeptical thing. Some folks don't believe they can make money with affiliate programs either! Clicking a few of the links above will start putting money into your checking account!
Starting small, quick to set up portable businesses and then turning them can be profitable. Look at the current unemployment and all of the retirees. These folks are searching for something to do, and an electronic storefront isn't one of them.
In our area alone there has been an increased number of people launching small portable businesses. Hawaiian Shaved Ice, Hamburger Stand, Vending of all sorts. These are terrific weekend opportunities which can pull in a monthly income! Low-cost, easy to set up, and other people want a turn-key business. Remember all of the Turn-Key, Cookie Cutter types of web sites?
Think of it as a higher form of Chattelling. Instead of Buying/Selling someone elses stuff/junk/treasures... You are creating a business to sell at a terrific profit. Or better yet, lease it.
Success and Regards... Mike
