DirectNic is a domain registrar. Until now I was very happy with the service it provided, and it was inexpensive: $15 per year. Well, just a couple of days ago my account was hacked and the hacker changed my DirectNic information. Now I cannot even get into my account. The support person at Directnic says that I need to call them and to provide certain information before they will transfer the account to me again. Well, I have tried to do that but they won't answer their phones until next Monday.
My warning is to be very wary of DirectNic. Clearly they have security issues.
