Hi, just wanted to give you an idea to help your execute your idea with success:
When speaking with your existing apartment complex customers, offer to also promote any products and/or services that they offer, at your table. This could be a gym membership to their clubhouse, an upgrade to a larger apartment, or any other products or services that they offer. This way, there would also be something in it for them (free advertising).
In terms of approaching the other businesses for to also set up tables, I'd definitely call them as opposed to emailing them. Approach them as a business owner yourself, who's looking to team up with other business owners for your event.
