Internet Business isn't any different than business on Main Street, USA.
(Or the UK and the other countries which are represented here!) It takes three primary things to be successful.
1) A target market
2) A product
and
3) A marketing vehicle
And that's it! Whether Bricks and Mortar, Online presence or even in Mail Order, you'll need to have all three. For without one, the other two - and you - are dead in the water.
So what does this mean for you? Well allow me to tell you. Marketing, and earning an income is easy enough to do. The toughest part is trusting yourself. Trusting your decisions. Trusting your knowledge.
Like riding the proverbial bicycle. At one time it seemed like the most difficult endeavor you could ever attempt. Riding a bicycle like all the other kids. No hands. Wheelies. Skidding around corners. It all seemed so magical... But so difficult.
Now for many of you, I hope many of you, riding a bicycle is a no-brainer. Same with online selling. Or selling anywhere else for that matter. But there are those of you which believe it to be a level unachievable. And there are also those which make it appear there is a mystical formula to achieve this level of success. Ain't so.
For you do not need to be a gourmet chef with fancy French cooking techniques. Nor do you need expensive wines and sterling silver cutlery. Good old hamburger is fine. Just ask McDonalds.
A few simple ingredients such as a Market, a Product and a viable Marketing Vehicle will put you on the path to success. Nothing else is needed. Unless you want to be a fancy-schmancy gourmet chef - which is fine unto itself! You can be. You are allowed to make it as complicated and as difficult as possible. You really are, and may in fact be.
But you also need to be well rounded in the business world, and not be so specialized, as in French Gourmet cooking. So if you're online and spending time on the forums, tweaking your ad copy, putting forth an effort to reap affiliate income, then do as I do on some occasions. learn about other forms of business and apply the concepts to the different areas you work in. Yes Online Business is work. Not nearly like shoveling your business sidewalk and waiting for the phone to ring or for someone to drop in, but it is still work.
