Here's my two cents worth...

Response to Are you a professional marketer? Need your precious advice.

I don't know if I'd be a "professional" or not. I don't really consider myself one. However I've been marketing on the net for years, and with good success, so here's my two cents worth:

- on website effective traffic increasing

Track where the hits to your webpage are coming from, and how long people are staying on your webpage. You can do this for free by using a sitemeter from http://www.sitemeter.com . That way, you'll know what website ads are a waste of your time, and what's working. Also, if visitors are not staying on your page very long, then you need to change the content of your page, and making it more grabby.

- on marketing web tools that really helped you

http://www.sitemeter.com as mentioned above. Also, keep a Marketing Tools folder on your desktop. Keep all your account information, favorite advertising sites, test sites, ect. in it.

Also are welcome your ideas on how to:
a. get visitors

email and message board siggys

click surfing

search engines http://www.selfpromotion.com can REALLY help with this

b. turn them into clients

Run your own e-zine. It only took me a few months to get over 6,000 subscribers. Have a form on your webpage that they can fill out, and give them reasons why they "need" to subscribe.

c. keep clients

E-zine.
