Haven't made a decision as of yet Rick. A semi-retiring partner is still on a two week cruise and not due back until the first of next week. So I have been kept busier than usual the last couple of weeks.
My initial thoughts were to simply have a series of radio spots flooding the market over a weekend piquing interest to this target market. Now I am considering actually going with the statewide paper with a series of small display ads.
The ad guy really perturbed me and I know even if I go there... He'll get credit for the sale. He works for a local media outlet which owns the radio station and the shopper.
I'm one of those "cut your nose off" guys. I should go radio, but I don't want this fellow to drag even a small commission off of me right now. Maybe later.
Keep in mind this is a side project and not a major force in our overall marketing strategy. If successful though, it should add $3,000 - $5,000 in gross revenues per month.
If you can develop a few varying projects, products, or different target markets, you can have incoming cashflow from differing sources. This is true no matter what area you're currently in, or interested in getting into.
Success and Regards Rick... Mike
