"BUSINESS CARD ADS ON RESTAURANT MENUS!"

Almost every Sat morning, my wife and I go to our favorite "Locals" restaurant where we look at the garage sale listings and decide where we're going "garage-saleing".

This restaurant is ALWAYS jam-packed on Sat morn with waits up to 20min.

One Sat morn the owner (who knows I have an advertising business) comes to my table and asks me if I can make up a new Menu for him...something that's more COLORFUL than the plain, ordinary one he's been using.

I ask him...
1) if he would mind if there are "business card ads" on the Menu and
2) would he provide me with a List of Business People who serve him AND a List of some of his "regular" diners.

He tells me, "No problem!" So I make arrangements to see him after 2pm when the restaurant is slow.

I meet with him...I have made up a List of possible suppliers (His insurance agent...heating and cooling guy...roofer...electrician...plumber...landscaper...
carpet cleaning co...his lawyer...etc) ...people who HE pays for services. We go down the list and I fill in a bunch of names...then we go down the "Regular Diner" list and I fill in another bunch of names.

I then go back to my home office and make up a Sample Menu and start calling some of the names on the list.

When I tell these people I'm working with the owner of the restaurant...making up a new menu for him...and I'm going to be placing business cards of local businesses on the menu....their ears "perk up".

I meet with each one (6 I didn't even have to see...they just gave the OK over the phone and all I needed to do was drop by and pick up their Biz Card and a check)...show them the Sampple Menu and WHALA!...I contact 24 people and 20 pay me to have their business card on the Menu.

The EASIEST sales I've ever had...AND the easiest Ads to make up. I just scanned in their biz cards.

The "service-people" feel they are OBLIGATED to have their biz card on the menus and the "regulars" WANT their card there because it's their favorite restaurant.

1)Make up a sample and go see the owner of a popular LOCALS restaurant. Tell him you will provide him with FREE Menus in FULL COLOR.
2) Have him give you a List of his service people and regulars
3) Contact those on the list
4) Make the Menus

Go to the next restaurant.
