Times they are a'changing again!

It wasn't so long ago I fell into marketing on the Internet - the 'New Frontier'. Or at least it was in the mid eighties! Now the Internet garden has vastly become overgrown with weeds and pests. Almost to the point where someone wanting to begin their garden simply cannot locate a patch of earth to do so.

Even if you can scratch out a small area, the ground is rocky. The ground is dry. The ground is sun baked as well. The life nurturing seed of sales and marketing simply cannot take hold, break through the hardpan surface and stretch towards the warmth of the sunlight.

But there are still small patches of virgin ground where you can easily raise your Internet garden from. Where the weeds and pests haven't yet taken hold.

There are still many ways to raise your home crop without the expensive tools, machinery and chemicals others claim you need in order to have a successful garden.

A successful garden takes some initial planning. A bit of hard work in the beginning. Some soil preparation. A proper selection of seeds for your growing climate. Life giving water and sunlight at the proper times. A layer of mulch to dissuade the weeds and pests from crowding out your plants.

Then you can sit back with an ice cold lemonade enjoying the cool breeze and the warmth of the sun as you watch your successful garden come to fruition.

At the right time you'll 'harvest' your work and not only place the ripened fruits and vegetables on your table, but will store the fruits of your efforts for a later time.

This will be your successful Internet garden.

Keep in mind you cannot properly take care of too much ground or too big of a garden. Dwindling are the days of the agricultural family working a large farm to supply a Nation with produce. Large corporate farms are taking their place each and every day.

But the 'Family Garden' will never become displaced. For centuries families have relied upon their home garden for self-reliance, for their food during the lean times and to share with their neighbors. A home garden which produces more than you will need.

A successful Internet garden is a niche within a niche. There will also come a time where you too will be able to leave your garden for a length of time and return home to it's bounty.

Your success depends on the love and care you give to your own garden. It depends upon where you intend to cast your seeds of marketing to. It will also depend upon your selection of seeds. Will your seeds sprout where you intend to plant them? Is the ground fertile enough? Are you looking simply to have a few fresh vegetable to supplement your meals or are you planning to have enough to see you through the winters?

Take a short drive or walk through your neighborhood and almost behind every home there is a patch of a garden. Or an area where the homeowner planted flowers around their walkways and driveways. All done with the good intentions of caring for them as they needed. What you will now find, are a few which are successful. And the majority of which have become dried and withered.

The main difference between a home garden and an Internet garden is the latter may be planted at any time of the year. And once you garden becomes lush and successful it will become the envy of many. Many of them will not want to do the things it takes to have a successful garden. Some of them will steal into your garden during the cover of darkness to make away with your bounty.

Others will want you to come over and plant their garden for them. Some will water their plots for a time and then become interested in other things letting their garden slowly die away. Still others will say you know nothing of successful gardening since their own garden is festooned with weeds and their plants will not grow.

Where have I gone some may ask??? I've actually gone nowhere... I've always been close by and can be found within my own garden and with friends in their gardens. This has been a very successful Summer for myself and others. A return to the simpler products without the need for all the ancillary tools, have provided a monetary bounty which is harvestable week in and week out.

It is possible to have a garden without the hundreds of dollars, or thousands of dollars of tools and tillers some will tell you is needed. It is very possible to have a successful Internet garden with only a few dollars, a few hours of work and a bit of weeding here and there.

If you are wanting to begin your own garden or are tired, exhausted and financially depleted from purchasing the high priced tools - Take a step back and simplify. Believe it or not, a simple 4-6 page report is still king of the Internet garden.

Success and Regards... Mike
