Today I came home to find my first issue of AFV Mod on my kitchen table. At this moment I have not had a chance to read much of the text but I was immediately interested with Alex Clark’s Golf war Challenger article because of the clarity of both construction and finished photos. I would love to have seen more unpainted pics of the other nice models featured. Great presentation with the tiger!!!!!

What I like about AFV so far is that it appears to be a research and “how-to” mag and not just a review of latest products on the market. I think it will be a resource for everyone in the hobby regardless their level of experience.

I hope that I will be able to contribute more in the upcoming months. I wish you all the best

The intention always has been to provide 'in progress' shots. However, we had to start somewhere and most of the guys whose stuff we wanted to use for #1 had unfortunately not taken any pics before painting.

As for the content, I always wanted this to contain historical and technical information rather than just kit reviews, like I've said there are plenty of other mags who can do some things better than we can, we just don't have the resources at the moment-you may find this surprising, but this is a part time operation, everyone on the editorial staff (both of us!) has a full time day job as well.

cheers

Don
