To all involved, My Thanks & Congratulations, I am in awe!
Manus, Chris, David, Darren & Adam, these are some of the best examples of Armour modelling around at the moment, you guys are setting the standards to which we all aspire. The quality of the magazine & all the work within it is 1st rate & still climbing.
I'd buy the mag for it's pure inspiration value alone, but add to that the how-to's & techniques within the articles, the quality of the original wartime pics & the contributions from some of the world's leading military historians & it becomes a valuable research tool as well.
I'm sure you will have your critics, who bemoan an all German issue, claiming that there is nothing for them, but to these people I say, look past the vehicle & observe the quality of the modelling, the helpful techniques & quite remarkable painting & weathering, there is truly something here for everyone.
Hello Darren
Thank you for your generous feedback regarding the articles published in the latest issue of AFVM. Once again I am honored and humbled to be published with whom I regard as some of the most talented modelers I have seen.
As with the past issues of AFVM, this will be another very special copy for me.
Well, I agree!!!
Haven't done my usual bi-monthly raving of the mag but this deserves it.
Great to get the copy earlier than expected, and a great read!
OK, all Panthers, but a good balance - useful step by steps (Adam, you're a star - so many simple hints and tips; and Dave, I gotta do me some zimmerit!).
Still, have to finish the Ferdinand I started........
No, german armour isn't my all time favourite, but who cares. An issue like this is inspiration, inspiration and more inspiration!! Fantastic work and the photos...they give you a thousand ideas regardless nationality.
Dear Rob, Andrew and Ulf
Thank you for your postings. Your thoughts are always very important. Ulf, I just finished School yesterday and now have more time. I will try to send you an overdue letter in a few days. I hope you are well.
...who loved the latest issue of AFVM.
Just recieved the Panther Special yesterday. Simply awesome articles with informative descriptions and great photos (as usual).
My thanks go to all involved at AFVM and the contributors, this issue will surely provide much needed inspiration!
