July 19 2004, 11:43 AM

Hi guys

Just recieved the Issue Nr 17 and i must say i am very impressed to see Darrens FAMO. Its a very impressing and spectacular, both the extreme well done build and the paint/ weathering, Top class. I have seen this monster before but now i got the chance to see it more.

Splendid article as well

Well done
Mirko

Thanks Chris & Mirko...

Hi Chris, Thanks for your comments, I think it'll be a while before I tackle anything on this scale for a while, it took the best part of 9 months.

Mirko, I take great encouragement from your kind words. I've always regarded my building to be my strong point & my painting a little on the weak side, but for you to comment on the painting/weathering also, makes me very happy! Of all the painting styles around at the moment, yours is the one I try hardest to achieve. For me, I find it the most realistic & the most pleasing to look at....for hours!

Thanks again guys,

Darren.
