Neil and Elvis as Neighbors

After I posted the message last night, in which I ended with a reference to the "Solitary Star" book, I decided I ought to look through that book and see if anything was said about Neil and Elvis. There were two pages listed under "Presley, Elvis" in the index. (That's one thing I much prefer about "Solitary Star" over "Diamond: A Biography" - the latter book doesn't have an index.) The first page talked about how both Neil and Elvis recorded in the same studio in Memphis around the same time in 1969, and both made hit record comebacks of sorts as a result of what they did there.

The second page was the one on which I had read about Neil hiring Ron Tutt. And it also mentions that Neil and Elvis were next door neighbors in Holmby Hills in 1972.
