He woke me up this morning with the news that we will be going to Memphis next saturday!!
He is SO EXCITED, that it is making me even more excited about the trip. I was worried that maybe I was pushing this on him, but his enthusiasm all day today has reminded me why I decided to make the long drive in the first place--I was excited with my tickets to Albany and he was SO DISAPPOINTED that I hadn't bought him one too. He kept asking, "are you sure they aren't coming someplace close enough that you could take me?"
I am so glad that Rev Barbara pointed out that Memphis is the same distance from us as San Antonio, and I don't think twice about driving to Texas. For some reason, I thought Memphis was far away.
I am curious to know more about the Civil Rights Museum that Karen mentioned. I hope we can fit that in with our plans.
Oh, Elijah told my husband while I was sleeping, I would be leaving him (the husband) next week and that he (Elijah) was going with me! Hubby was a bit worried until he realized Elijah was excited about going to the concert.
