Concert Negotiations between "Husbands & Wives"

I was thinking that since Neil was doing a Phoenix concert 12/29, he would be close by to perform 12/31 in Las Vegas.

So, last nite I told my hubby....I want Neil for Christmas...all Neil...the new DVD(and, of course, a DVD player), the Phoenix concert and Las Vegas.

I really dislike NYE...but to spend it with Neil and Diamondville...OH YEAH!!!...Christmas, New Years and my birthday...all celebrations covered in one fell swoop...what a way to end one year and start the new one.

Well my hubby looked at me with this snicker on his face and said, "Well what other Neil concerts are they gonna announce that you will add to my gift list?"

I told him I was not sure but that he was doing a very good job reading my mind and that I would be a REALLY good girl.

He asked if that included NOT getting thrown in the slammer all along the east coast in the next 2 weeks without him on the Thelma & Hey Louise tour.

Uh oh, I thought - he has me backed into the proverbial corner...what to do...what to say...how do I swing this negotiation in my favor(and Neil's).

First you gotta LOOK 'EM IN THE EYE...my hubby is 6'2" and I am 5'4" so I moved a chair right in front of him and stood on it and looked into those baby blues.

I said, "Wait a minute...AFTER that set of concerts...THEN I will be a very good girl to earn the December concerts.

He walked away shaking his head and laughing...whispering under his breath..."I give up"!

HEY BUD...I heard that!! OOPS...I mean SWEETHEART! ( Come on Toni...gotta be a good girl!).

I wonder how many concerts Neil will announce out Arizona way...I may end up a very EXHAUSTED good girl.
